BACKGROUND OF THE SONG:::
The song is primarily about a relationship that has been forced to end. Whether by deceit , parting or death, that has been left open for interpretation in my lyrics. Nevertheless, the song stresses moving on and an attempt to "chase the grey away" and that the task will be completed once the song ends, since it will " never be heard again".

DuVillage came to me with this song around October 2009 ( yes, its been a year!) and he told me the story behind his writing it. I fell in love with the tune, and was glad he asked me to write and sing the lyrics to it!
It took me a few weeks to put together a plan for the song, and 2 weeks to write it. However, everything was on hold because of the turbulences and changes in my life, and Ron's busy schedule, so it had to wait a year.
Also, our being countries apart, didn't help to speed things up....So, that's why it took this long.
I took Ron's experiences, coupled with mine, and wrote the lyrics. I tried to be as creative as possible in the singing, since the song's verses are so long and repetitive.
In the end, it was to Ron's great liking, and I was ecstatic to get it up here!!!!
I really hope you guys like it. And feel free to post your comments about it !! Constructive criticism is ALWAYS welcome.

THE VIDEO:
I didn't know what to do for a vid. I knew I wanted original items, and not anime or anythingn close.
SO, I asked Ron to take some footage of Netherlands and his piano playing. And I used my photography and videos...AND a special guest, Sephyroth87, contributed to the Canada footage that you see here! It was too lovely not to take! hehehe
